VINCY FESTIVALS AND EVENTS
Annual Events
In January, we get the year off to a great start with music at Bequia's Music Festival and Mustique's Blues Festival.
When Spring arrives, head to Bequia for the world famous Easter Regatta or take a trip south to Union for the wild and wonderful Easterval celebrations. Both held annually at Easter in March/April.
The Blues & Rhythm Festival was last held in 2008.
In May it's time for Canouan's Regatta, another very popular sailing race.
Join us in June/July for Vincy Mas, the Hottest Carnival in the Caribbean! This lively and colourful fete is held annually and includes the Miss SVG Competition, Mardi Gras Parade of Bands, Calypso Monarch, King & Queen of Carnival and much, much more!
In the month of August, it's our Breadfruit Festival - a tasty celebration of St Vincent & The Grenadines' 25 species of breadfruit and their historical importance.
We finish off the year in December with the National Christmas Festival and our Nine Mornings Festival, an indigenous festival unique to St. Vincent & The Grenadines with pre-dawn street concerts, fetes, fun competitions, traditional music and steel pan each of the nine days before Christmas in various towns and villages.
