Tourism Authority Partners With Popular Reality TV Show Series

St. Vincent & the Grenadines Scheduled to Feature on TLC’s “Four Weddings”


Kingstown, St. Vincent, September 01, 2010 – Working with New York-based Spring, O'Brien & Co., Inc., which handles public relations in North America for St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Tourism Authority continues to strengthen its strategic alliances and execute cost-effective partnerships to further promote St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the U.S.  

The Authority’s recent collaboration with The Learning Channel (TLC) will come to fruition when the “Four Weddings” episode featuring a five-night honeymoon prize to Young Island Resort premiers on Friday, September 10 at 10PM ET.

“The destination weddings and honeymoons market is one of the four pillars of our marketing and public relations program,” said Hon. Glen Beache, Minister of Tourism.  “We are delighted to introduce St. Vincent and the Grenadines to Four Weddings’ target audience.  They will see that we have the most complete Caribbean destination for a romantic and memorable honeymoon.”
