Travel Channel Visits SVG

A team from the popular Travel Channel visited St Vincent and the Grenadines recently, and had a chance to sample some local dishes.

On Tuesday night, February 2nd, 2010, Travel Channel’s Anthony Bourdaine made a stop at Bully’s Bar at Rose Place. Bourdaine had an opportunity to interact with bar owner Marlon ‘Bully’ Llewellyn, employees and patrons.

Apart from chatting, Bourdaine enjoyed Cattle Head Soup, Breadfruit and Black Fish, Sunset Rum and Hairoun products. Bourdaine enjoyed himself at the Bar, and should have some nice things to say about SVG on the Travel Channel.


On Wednesday, Minister of Tourism, Glen Beache said that officials from the Travel Channel were greeted with hostility while filming in the Kingstown Market recently. He called on Vincentians to give tourism the respect it deserves.
