Once a year, BASIL’S BAR becomes The House of Blues for two weeks. This year is our 15th Anniversary kicking off January 27 thru February 10. THE MUSTIQUE BLUES FESTIVAL takes place every evening at BASIL’S BAR with two exceptions:
• January 29 in Bequia
• February 5 in St. Vincent at The Aquatic Club
• The two Sunday dates are family sunset performances from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
All other performances begin at 8:30 p.m.
Here is the list of musicians for this year:
• Billy Branch – Nominated for a Grammy Award this year
• Joe Louis Walker – Nominated in five categories for the Blues Music Awards
• Hans Theessink – Nominated for the 2009 Grammy Award
• Ian Siegal – Latest album release voted #1 on London Blues Chart
• Dana Gillespie and the London Blues Band

All proceeds from THE MUSTIQUE BLUES FESTIVAL are generously donated to THE BASIL CHARLES EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION. THE BCEF began in 1995, with BASIL’S plan to raise money to help send children to school who could not afford all of the extra costs. BASIL began to build his world famous MUSTIQUE BLUES FESTIVAL channeling all proceeds from The Festival, the sale of the CD’s and other donations to this worthy cause. THE BCEF currently has more than 69 students under scholarship or busary, bringing the total number of children who have been through the program to over 120. Please help us continue sending our children to secondary school in St. Vincent and the Grenadines by supporting this outstanding blues event. Sponsors and private donors are welcome to contact us:
